Installation art is art that is installed into a specific site. It is designed to change the perception (or, what you think) of a place
Theme of Identity is used in Do Ho Suh's artwork. He recreates entire houses made out of fabric. He lives between Korea and L.A. and often misses his home so he made a home that he could pack into a box and take with him.
Repetition is often used in Do Ho Suh's work. In the artwork above, Who Am We from 2006, Suh takes images of students from a Korean high school's yearbook and repeats them to make a whole wall full of tiny specks. Why do you think he does this?
