“Summer Blossoms”
I made my artwork by drawing the outlines of a tree in pencil before creating my painting. I used different shades of brown to paint in each branch, and the trunk of the tree. When this was dry, I started to paint the leaves as spots on each branch. For this part, I used different colors for the leaves, and spread them out onto the page. Later on, I painted in a blue sky and grass, and added blue behind the tree to get rid of some of the white in the background.
I made a painting of a tree to show how many unique things there are in life, and how we have to stop and appreciate them. The tree used many bright colors to represent the colors we have, and that people need to have patience. The tree stays still, and never moves, while things are changing all around it. This shows people how to have patience to really appreciate the smaller parts of life.
